The Department of Biology at Connecticut College encourages its majors to take advantage of opportunities to study away. Biology majors routinely study in Africa, Central America, the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, Australia and other countries. Within our curriculum, we offer a tropical biology course in which students travel with faculty over spring break to complete research projects in Belize. We also offer the opportunity for students to study at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA through the Marine Biological Laboratory Semester Program.
